Remember Again

Recently I was reminded of a moment I experienced years ago.

Expecting a “thank you” from my husband for something I did, I asked him the reason I didn’t receive one.

A bit perplexed he said, “If I thanked you for everything you did, I’d be thanking you all the time.”

Somehow, this was a satisfying answer.

Remembering this, while in a similar situation, released my need to hear “thank you”.

Once I let it go, I received it.

As I reflected on this, I was reminded of how important it is to look back, remember what is good and bring those moments to the present. They are a gift we can unwrap over and over again.

This experience also helped me remember all the good things in my life. And, if I was really paying attention, I would be saying “thank you” all the time.

Wow . . .

“Thank you!”

Here’s to more WOW Moments!

With love,

Lucy
